Where the Story Begins
Hello, I'm Jody. I was born in the UK but spent much of my childhood on a wide, open farm in South Africa — surrounded by nature, horses, barefoot freedom, and the quiet beauty of simple living. That connection to the natural world never really left me.
In 2012, my husband and I settled on our own piece of land, complete with a corrugated iron shed — our original “wriggly tin.” It was there that this journey began.
My fascination with skincare grew from a deep curiosity about how natural ingredients affect our skin, hormones, and overall wellbeing. What followed was a slow and steady love affair with raw goat milk and formulating gentle, honest products that are kind to both the body and earth.
When I’m not crafting soap batches, I’m usually out exploring, watching vlogs, bothering my husband, or hanging out with my dog. And yes — I’m still a total goat fanatic too!
